Screen Print Portfolio Cover
Portfolio book cover through the process of silkscreening.
The goal here was to create an effect that reflected nature’s process of decay in contrasting the organized design of my nameplate and projects.
I started the process for this cover by creating two screens that were negatives in a textured design. The nameplate was the only part that was “knocked out” of each screen then covered with plastisol ink. I poured different color into the screens directly allowing the ink to settle without moving the transfer. With only a few passes the inks mixed and I was able to pull these prints that are all enique.
