Socal Survivor Lunch
Socal Survivor lunch is a project that developed while taking product packaging in College. The inherent problem with high school lunches is how to make them healthy and more appealing to young adults. In today’s fast paced world convince is key, but now frozen foods have been replaced with the ability to provide the alternative of locally grown and farm fresh produce.
Color is a very important component in the function of this product. The earth tones are inherent to the design, but they also meant mimic the harshness of a dry landscape translated through the vegetation found around Southern California. The challenge was to keep the elements bright enough to make an impact at the grocery store, while still retaining the look of organic farm fresh food packaging.
